Cape Town – Felicity Huffman is ready for a do-over.
The American actress on Monday afternoon plead guilty to charges of mail fraud and honest services mail fraud in the college admissions cheating scandal.
Two months after being arrested and charged for paying $15k that she disguised as a charitable donation so that her daughter could take part in the entrance-exam cheating scam, Felicity arrived to a Boston courtroom in a gray dress with a black blazer, E! News reports.
According to the Associated Press, Felicity stood with her hands clasped in front of her and responded, 'Yes, your honour,' when asked whether she understood the charges as her brother watched from the front row.
Prosecutors suggested a four-month prison sentence, NBC News reports. The sentencing has been scheduled to take place on 13 September.

Felicity agreed to plead guilty to the charges against her in court in April.
"I am pleading guilty to the charge brought against me by the United States Attorney's Office. I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions," Felicity said in a statement at the rime.
