Cape Town – Kourtney Kardashian’s been at odds with her sisters for quite some time now as far as the family’s reality TV show goes.

Kim and Khloé have had arguments with Kourtney on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, calling her out for not wanting to share more about her life, while the mother of three has gone onto The Real, admitting she’s thought about leaving the show.

Now, a source tells People the 40-year-old has decided to take a step back from filming, and it has everything to do with Mason, Penelope and Reign, her three children she shares with Scott Disick.

"She is happy to be filming less for both herself and the kids," the insider shared.

"As Kourtney and Scott’s kids get older, especially Kourtney feels that public exposure is not really beneficial for the kids. There are already trolls that post nasty comments about the kids. They are too young to read about it yet, but Kourtney would hate for them to read it as they get older. She feels more and more protective of the kids."

Though Kourtney will be in fewer episodes of the 18th season when it does return, Kim recently told Ellen Degeneres, mentioning that their feuds 'get worse before it gets better', a final decision has not yet been made about her future on the show, reports Entertainment Tonight.
