Cape Town - Celebrities from across the world have taken up the #BottleCapChallenge and the videos have been nothing short of epics, but this wasn’t the case for Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) star Kendall Jenner.
The 23-year-old was faced with backlash after she uploaded a video of herself taking up the bottle cap challenge while on a jet ski.
Kendall uploaded the video on her Instagram page on Monday and most of her fans were excited and felt that she won the challenge. But this wasn’t until Twitter users started commenting that she was contributing to water pollution.

In the video, the model approached a bottle from her jet ski and kicks off the loosened lid.
The lid fell into water and that is what set Twitter users off.

Tweeps were commenting about the bottle cap saying that it would kill some of the sea creatures. These were some of the comments.
After receiving the harsh comments, Kendall Jenner commented on her Instagram page, saying that she did find the cap and retrieved it from the ocean, but most people did not believe her.
