Cape Town – Andy Cohen has welcomed a baby boy via a surrogate and he is absolutely over the moon.
The talk show host announced the birth of Benjamin Allen Cohen on social media on Monday night. The newborn was born at 18:35 and weighed in at 4.1 kg.
Sharing the meaning of little Benjamin’s name, Andy wrote: “He is named after my grandfather Ben Allen. I’m in love. And speechless. And eternally grateful to an incredible surrogate.”

Andy announced he is going to be a father during an episode of his show Watch What Happened Live.
“Tonight, I want you to be the first to know that after many years of careful deliberation, a fair amount of prayers, and the benefit of science, if all goes according to plan, in about six weeks’ time I am going to become a father.”
