American talk-show host Wendy Williams got emotional when a “friend” she was with was mistaken for her soon-to-be ex-husband Kevin Hunter.
Wendy – who announced earlier this year that she planned to divorce her husband of more than 20 years following cheating allegations – may previously have said that she was “pleasantly” working on her divorce but the matter clearly is still a sensitive topic for her.

Speaking to a paparazzo in Los Angeles, Wendy seemed to get upset when the photographer mistook a male she was with for Kevin.
“That’s not Kevin,” she interjected. “Please don’t ask about Kevin, we have an 18-year-old son and I’m sensitive to that.”
Asked how her family were doing after her son reportedly had been arrested for punching his father she said, “Young Kevin and I are fine. Stuff happens in life and you know what, it’s okay. “I’ve still got a very full life that I really adore. Please don’t make me cry,” the clearly emotional talk-show host said before tearing up.
“I didn’t plan on this but it is what it is . . . I have a very full life. I’d ask you to respect our privacy but please . . . I don’t respect people’s privacy, that’s why you’ve got Hot Topics,” Wendy said, referring to a segment of her talk show.
“All three of us are doing fine.”
The 54-year-old said she’d still be making public appearances with her soon-to-be ex-husband, especially with their son’s graduation coming up.
