Cape Town - It’s not even half way through the year but, oh boy, Wendy Williams – queen of all things gossip – has been quite the hot topic. From moving into a sobriety house, taking a hiatus from her talk show and recently filing for divorce against her soon-to-be ex-husband amidst cheating rumours, she is one busy lady.
Wendy broke her silence on filing for divorce from her husband of more than 20 years, Kevin Hunter, during a segment of her show. "It’s so crazy because now my business is your business," confessed the former radio personality before bursting into laughter.
"It’s kind of funny...turnabout’s a fair game – I get it!"
The 54-year-old, who got quite candid about her struggle with addiction and living in a sobriety house, also revealed during the show that she has a "whole new life that I plan for myself and my son".
"Believe me you, when you lay in a room with no TV and four grey walls all day...and you lay there and you think about your life – this is my life at the sober house," she said.
"It’s one of the best things, honestly, that could've ever happened to me. When you think about your life you think about how you've been delivering to the world, especially on the show."
Wendy added that addressing her sobriety and addiction helped her sort out every compartment of her life.
"And by the way, the motto of this show will always be, 'Their business is our business'," chanted the show host before she reminded the audience that they’d soon forget about her business.
