Why does Keanu Reeves never touch women in photos?

Cape Town - Keanu Reeves has an endearing photo habit – he always seems to avoid touching the women he’s snapped with.

One Twitter user, @KemziLinzi, spotted the odd custom and shared four photos that show his hand hovering above the waists of the women he’s pictured with, Business Insider writes.

"Lol Keanu ain’t taking no chances [sic]," he wrote.

The tweet went viral, garnering more than 377 000 "likes" and nearly 80 000 retweets.

Fans of the actor have praised him for his gentlemanly ways and polite behaviour, adds Daily Mail.

Some speculated he purposefully didn’t place his hands on the women to avoid accusations of inappropriate behaviour.

"He’s being respectful and I’m here for it!!" one wrote.

While another reckoned Keanu’s reason might be as selfish as it is respectful.

"That’s how I’m reading it too – respecting their personal space. I don’t think he’s reacting to the Me Too movement. That’s just how he is. Plus he’s a Virgo so he could [be] slightly germaphobic lol," the user wrote.

Either way it’s a classic move and we’re in favour of it!
