Cape Town - They’ve never done things the conventional way.
Instead of honeymooning the way a newlywed couple traditionally does, Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk jetted off to the Maldives with their respective children and Gwyneth’s ex-husband, Chris Martin.
But Gwyn and Brad (48) couldn’t be bothered by customary practices, it seems.
According to PEOPLE, the couple don’t live together full-time. They spend four nights of the week together before Brad returns to his place.
“Oh, all my married friends say that the way we live sounds ideal and we shouldn’t change a thing,” the 46-year-old said in a recent interview with The Sunday Times.
She revealed that their unusual living arrangement even carries the stamp of approval of her intimacy coach Michaela Boehm, who reckons it helps give “polarity” to the relationship, Elle writes.
Gwyn also talked about the good relationship she still enjoys with ex Chris, with whom she shares daughter Apple (15) and son Moses (13).
“Well, of course,” she said about inviting him on her honeymoon. “Chris is family and Brad and he, they’re like, totally friends.”
The Goop founder had nothing but praise for Chris’ girlfriend Dakota Johnson, calling her “a fantastic woman” and adding “I adore her”.
One big, happy and blended family? We’re totally here for that!
