Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'taking government advice' after possible exposure to coronavirus

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are huddled up in Canada with Archie as the country closes its borders amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who've been residing in Canada after their last engagement as senior royals, are "taking government advice". This, especially after Harry may have moved in the same circles as a few very high-profile celebrities who revealed they've contracted Covid-19.

Not too long ago, Harry met with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton when the two attended the opening of the Silverstone Experience together in London. The event that took place on 6 March saw Harry and Lewis open a brand new immersive museum all about the British motor racing scene. They viewed the various components of the museum, met with volunteers, chatted with the next generation of engineers and racing drivers, and shared a hug.

But two days before their meeting, the 35-year-old race car driver also mingled with Idris Elba and Justin Trudeau's wife, Sophie, at the WE Day UK charity events in London. In the past week, both have confirmed they've tested positive for the coronavirus.

Lewis has not said whether or not he has contracted the virus or been tested.

"Like everyone, they are taking government advice, and if and when they are specifically made aware of being in contact with someone who has tested positive, they will act accordingly," a royal source commented to People.

Harry and Meghan seem to be taking all the necessary precautions to keep their family safe amid the pandemic. They concluded their farewell tour without Archie, for one, to ensure he wouldn't be exposed in any way to the coronavirus.

But although they seem to be practising social distancing, they have expressed their concerns for those they're close to, including Sophie Trudeau.

An insider told The Post the couple was worried for their friend. "Right now, Meghan and Harry are just concerned for the health and safety of others," they said. "These are scary times, and they are more worried about what is happening in the world than what's next for them."
