Cape Town - Grandkids know just what to do when it comes to softening up their grandparents – and Prince Harry was no different when he was growing up.
The now 35-year-old – who recently topped headlines after deciding to step away from his royal duties and move to Canada with his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and their son, Archie – was quite the prankster growing up.
Harry was the "only one" who could get away with tricking the monarch, according to former royal butler Paul Burrell, the Mirror reports.

"I know the queen very well and I know she’s very fond of Harry," Paul explained.
Growing up, Princes William and Harry would often join their grandmother for tea and Harry always had a trick or two up his sleeve, Marie Claire reported.
"As William would sit and have tea with her after school, Harry would put plastic flies in the sugar bowl!" the former royal butler added.
"It was hilarious. Harry was the only one who could trick his granny."
Princess Diana was also a fan of pranks and played a key role in some of Harry’s other cheeky tricks, Express UK reported.
Di was always looking for the perfect stocking fillers for Christmas, says Paul, and on one occasion gifted the young prince with fake dog poo – which "he loved" and planned to use on his gran.
However, now, following Harry’s split from the royal family, reports have surfaced alleging Harry’s special relationship with his grandmother has gone awry, ABC News reported.
