Cape Town – The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly working on publishing her very own children’s book.

A royal insider told The Sun: "The plans are in the very early stages and won’t be formally announced for some time. But she’s very excited about the possibility and is passionate about the idea of a work of fiction for children."

As for the inspiration the insider shared: "She loves animals."

Meghan herself has spoken about just how much. In a report for Mayhew – an animal welfare charity – she wrote that getting – and specifically adopting – a pet, will "undoubtedly change your life".

"I know from personal experience the joy that adopting an animal into your home can bring," she wrote, according to PEOPLE.

So the insider shared the book will probably feature none other than Guy and Bogart – The Duchess of Sussex’s rescue doggos!
