Cape Town - Lady Gabriella Windsor married Thomas Kingston in a fairy tale ceremony – and the British royal family was there it witness it.
Just one day before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrate their first wedding anniversary, British royals and family guests arrived at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle to celebrate Lady Gabriella, affectionately known as Ella, and Thomas – including Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry.
The 38-year-old British Royal – who is the daughter of Queen Elizabeth II's cousin, Prince Michael of Kent – stunned in a white Luisa Beccaria and a Russian Fringe-style tiara, a family heirloom, as she arrived for her wedding on Saturday, British Vogue reports.
Ahead of the bridal party's arrival, Queen Elizabeth arrived wearing a pink dress coat and matching hat, alongside her husband Prince Philip – who made a rare public appearance amid his retirement from royal duties.
According to E! News, Anne, Princess Royal and Andrew, the Duke of York were also in attendance, alongside Sarah Ferguson as well as Princess Beatrice and her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Royal family members who did not attend included the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank. Notably Meghan, Duchess of Sussex was also missing from the royal event, as she is still on maternity leave with baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
Buckingham Palace announced Lady Gabriella and Thomas' engagement in September 2018. Details of their nuptials were later released, revealing that although it will follow royal traditions the couple had planned a private affair.
