Cape Town – Prince William and Kate are set to carry out a rare joint engagement next week with Prince Charles and Camilla.

According to the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall’s website, the four royals will visit the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre and meet patients and staff on 11 February. According to HELLO! Magazine, the DMRC is a rehabilitation centre officially opened by Prince William in 2018. The centre provides neurological care, occupational therapy and physical rehabilitation.

Queen Elizabeth also made her first official appearance on Monday when she visited the Royal Air Force in Norfolk.

The RAF Marham is a "military airbase, with over 3600 working personnel", the Royal Family Instagram account explains.

The Queen visited the training centre, which provides future pilots with the necessary skills to enable them to qualify as lightning plane pilots, and watched demonstrations of simulation-based training that will allow new pilots to practice flying without being in the air.

The Queen’s appearance came as she concluded her winter stay at Sandringham following a tumultuous first month of the new decade.

With Prince Harry and Meghan’s exit from the royal family and an "emergency meeting" and "crisis talks" underway to talk about Prince Andrew’s alleged sexual misconduct and involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, it looks as though the queen is slowly settling into the new year with business as usual.
