In a post shared on Instagram, actress Thando Thabethe mentioned that she is working alongside radio presenter Mantsoe Tsatsi and the Boothfest Foundation to "feed as many people as possible" as SA battles the coronavirus.
"I, together with @boothfestfoundation & @MantsoePout are on a mission to feed as many people as possible, spent this afternoon feeding some of the homeless in Centurion," she wrote on Sunday.
The star went on to ask followers for suggestions on where else she could go to lend a helping hand.
"Please help us identify other places in need and also let us know how you can help during these trying times," she added.
While she is doing her part to give back, Thando made it clear to everyone that having the correct permits to be out during the lockdown is of utmost importance. She also encouraged people to keep practicing social distancing as much as possible.
"Please note that this is only allowed if you hold a permit that provides care services or social relief for the distressed. Which we do hold. All of this while practicing social distancing and adhering to the rules and regulations (sic)."
