Matt Damon has touched down in Australia to join the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder.
The 50-year-old had a cameo in Thor Ragnarok as an actor playing Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in a play. Details about his role is still under wraps.
Deadline reports that the Good Will Hunting actor arrived with his family on Saturday and is currently in quarantine for 14 days.
The publication further reports that Matt told the local press that he is excited to call Australia home for the next few months. "Australian film crews are world-renowned for their professionalism and are a joy to work with so the 14 days of quarantine will be well worth it," he said.
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said: "Hollywood superstar Matt Damon joining our homegrown talent to film such a major movie in NSW is a big win creating thousands of jobs for locals," reports ET Canada.
Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman will all reprise their roles with Taika Waititi set to return as director.
