New Netflix rom-com inspired by 'Queer Eye' star Antoni Porowski

Queer Eye star Antoni Porowski is the inspiration behind a new Netflix romantic comedy.

The upcoming feature titled Girls & Boys is loosely based on the 36-year-old's real-life dating experiences as a sexually fluid man.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Antoni developed the story with Kenya Barris, the creator of Black-ish.

The screenplay will be written by Andrew Rhymer and Jeff Chan, who did the Hulu film Plus One.

The TV personality and chef is the food and wine expert on the Emmy award-winning show which sees the Fab 5 makeover 'heroes' who are nominated by their friends.
