Ringo Starr is gearing up for his "Big Birthday Show".
The musician, who shot to fame as part of iconic group The Beatles, is turning 80 on 7 July and has decided to celebrate with a virtual benefit concert.
According to Rolling Stone, the benefit will "include at-home performances and unearthed concert footage" from musicians like Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper and Ringo's Beatles bandmate, Paul McCartney.
The show will air on Ringo's YouTube channel, and funds raised will benefit the Black Lives Matter Global Network, MusiCares, WaterAid and The David Lynch Foundation.
In a video shared on his channel, Ringo talks about his upcoming birthday, asking fans to celebrate a moment of "peace and love" by showing a peace sign with their hands at noon on 7 July.
