Grammy Award-winning flautist Wouter Kellerman joined forces with the Mzansi Youth Choir on a cover of Miley Cyrus' 2009 single, The Climb

The track has been dedicated to healthcare workers who have found themselves on the frontline amid the coronavirus pandemic.

A unique South African spin has been put on the inspirational song, which was released along with a video on Monday.

Technology allowed the choir as well as Wouter to come together in a time of social distancing to create the clip. Along with artists, the video also features powerful imagery of healthcare workers.

"These lines from The Climb describe the character of our health workers worldwide. In their tribute to health workers, Wouter Kellerman and the Soweto-based Mzansi Youth Choir drive these encouraging words home," a press statement reads.
