Did you know about Prince Harry's secret Instagram account?

In royal reporters Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand's new book, Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, which is being serialised by The Times and the Sunday Times, they reveal the Duke of Sussex's secret account: @SpikeyMau5.

According to the co-authors, Harry's handle was a combination of his nickname "Spike" and his favourite DJs, Deadmau5. It popped up shortly after the couple first started dating and featured a photo of a mouse-shaped helmet in it's display picture, reports People.

Of course, Meghan started following @SpikeyMau5 and made things Instagram official with a post of her own: a photo of a candy heart with the words "Kiss Me" on it. "Lovehearts in #London," she captioned it, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Finding Freedom, which documents Harry and Meghan's life together up until their eventual exit from the royal family, will hit shelves on 22 August.
