On Thursday 12 March, Somizi and Mohale invited an exclusive group of media and friends to join them as they screened the fourth and final episode of their Showmax wedding special: Somizi and Mohale: The Union

The couple tied the knot in two beautiful ceremonies, and now fans can get a front-row seat to both.

Speaking to Channel24 at the intimate event, producer Legend Manqele said it was important to add that human touch to the show.

"Beyond the technical stuff, beyond the camera work, beyond the production and the planning, there needs to be a personal element to these things. We understand that this wedding isn't something that happens to everyone; not a lot of people have the opportunity of just getting married like this. So, we captured it from that point of view – that this is a once-in-a-lifetime thing."

While Mohale told us the traditional wedding ceremony was one of his favourites, Somizi said he could not wait for people to immerse themselves in the entire experience.

"I'm looking forward to them seeing our outfits, and also, our guests really brought it home – they looked dashingly amazing. The décor as well, and the food, and the music. Actually, the entire wedding."

Somizi and Mohale: The Union is available for streaming on Showmax. The final episode airs on Monday 16 March.
