Brunette no longer! Charlize is almost unrecognisable with this new haircut

Cape Town – Charlize Theron is returning to the Fast and Furious franchise to play Cipher with a new hairdo!

The South African actress will be reprising her role as the criminal mastermind for the ninth instalment of the high paced franchise but looks totally different than the last time we saw her on vacay with her family.

The 44-year-old – who has been wearing a brunette bob as of late – debuted an even shorter cut on Monday with a photo on her Instagram.

Charl's chic bowl-cut has blonde highlights, and in the caption, she simply wrote: "She's baaaaack #Fast9".

Production on the film began in the UK on 24 June and had to stop when a stuntman was injured on set. The man, named Joe Watts, was airlifted to hospital after sustaining a severe head injury after a fall. He was then put in a coma but later recovered and taken out of intensive care after three weeks.
