Dumplin' brought back bad childhood memories for Jennifer Aniston

Cape Town - Jennifer Aniston's new movie role as a former pageant queen brought back bad memories of her own childhood being the daughter of a model.

The movie centres on Dumplin’ (Danielle Macdonald) - a plus-size, teenage daughter of former beauty queen Rosie Dickson (Aniston), who signs up for her mom’s pageant as a protest that escalates when other contestants follow her footsteps, revolutionising the pageant and their small Texas town.

According to Cover Media working on the film reminded Aniston about her lack of a relationship with her own mom Nancy Dow.

She explained that she didn't come out the model child that her mom had hoped for and that they had a difficult relationship.
