First look at Neill Blomkamp's new project

Cape Town – Neill Blomkamp just released a new trailer for some of his upcoming work filmed right here in South Africa. 

The District 9 director is embarking on an experimental filmmaking project called Oats Studios. 

The short films will be releasing via Steam, an online distribution platform.

In the trailer we see a number of various scenes; a post-apocalyptic world in which earth has been inhabited by aliens who rule, a woman in a red lit corridor shooting an alien and American soldiers fighting a war. 

The clip ends with an eerily woman's voice saying: "The new world altered everyone adapt or die it was as simple as that."

Speaking about the studio on Twitter Neill said: "The whole point of the studio is to just do what we want. No constraints."
