CNN reports that when Tina and Amy hosted the show in 2013, it received the highest ratings in six years.
Comedian Ricky Gervais hosted the Globes for the fifth time this year. The controversial comedian didn't hold back as he kicked off the glitzy night emphasising that he's "never doing this again" and that he "doesn't care" about the show and "never has".
A date for the 78th Golden Globes has not been set yet.
