Cape Town - The Prodigy centres on Miles (Jackson Robert Scott), a young boy who shows signs of real genius, but also more disturbing and sinister behaviours. 

His mother, Sarah (Taylor Schilling), takes him to a therapist and begins to suspect that he may be influenced or possessed by a supernatural force.

This American horror thriller is directed by Nicholas McCarthy and opens in South African cinemas on Friday, 8 February.
