Hollywood A-listers transform into a group of journalists in a 20th century French city for Wes Anderson's new movie.

The comedy-drama, The French Dispatch, follows a group of journalists at an American newspaper bureau set in a fictional city.

According to ComingSoon, the film is described as a love letter to journalists and centres on three storylines that bring to life a collection of stories published in 'The French Dispatch' magazine.

The film written by Wes is loosely inspired by The New Yorker magazine.

According to the New Yorker, the 50-year-old filmmaker has been a devotee of the publication since he was a teen and has a collection of magazines as far back as the 1940s.

The ensemble cast includes Benicio Del Toro, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton Timothée Chalamet Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Léa Seydoux, Jeffrey Wright, Stephen Park, Liev Schreiber, Elisabeth Moss, Edward Norton, Saoirse Ronan and more.
