Cape Town - Local musicians Busiswa and Moonchild have been featured on Beyoncé’s new album The Lion King: The Gift, and the two artists are over the moon.

Both artists shared the exciting news on their Instagram pages and expressed their gratitude for the amazing opportunity.

"I have no words to explain and express my gratitude for being one of the chosen ones for the @lionking soundtrack by my ultimate favorite artist in the world @Beyoncé y’all. Anyone who knows me or googles interviews has heard me say one day I’ll work with the Queen!! They laughed, laugh now. Dreams come true and nothing is impossible," Moonchild captioned the image.

The album that features other artists such Childish Gambino, Burna Boy, Wiz Kid and many more, is set to come out on 19 July 2019. Other artists include Jay Z, Blue Ivy, Kendrick Lamar and Jessie Reyez.

The film will also premiere in cinemas on the same day that the album will come out.
