Johannesburg - Multi award-winning afro-pop singer Zahara has had a busy week after she came out guns blazing, accusing her former record label of owing her millions.

TS Records boss DJ Sbu, who co-owned the label with Thembinkosi Nciza, has responded to these allegations that have hogged headlines this week.

In an Instagram post the business man attached a statement which allegedly shows that their closed down label, TS Records, does not owe Zahara millions as she claims.

"To the best of TS Records' knowledge, Zahara and the producer of [her] albums were paid and continue to receive all forms of royalties that are due to them," the statement read.

Following DJ Sbu’s statement, Zahara took to her Instagram page and posted a video.

"Now I am leaving everything to my legal team that will deal with things, so thank you for your support and thank you for everything," Zahara said to her fans.

The often media shy Loliwe hitmaker was brave enough to speak up about not backing down, insisting that what is owed to her must be paid.
