Cape Town – According to Forbes, rapper Jay-Z's investments and music sales have made him one of the only entertainers in the world to become a billionaire.
In a piece published on Monday, the finance focussed publication wrote: "It's clear that Jay-Z has accumulated a fortune that conservatively totals $1 billion, making him one of only a handful of entertainers to become a billionaire—and the first hip-hop artist to do so."
The father-of-three has an investment portfolio which includes (at the time of writing): liquor, art, real estate and stakes in companies like Uber.

A $70 million stake in Uber
Ownership of the streaming service Tidal (which some value at $600 million.)
A $70 million art collection
Ownership of the Roc Nation sports management company
$50 million in assorted real estate holdings and his music catalogue.
Jay-Z and his chart-topping wife Beyoncé released their joint album, Everything is Love in 2018 and toured the world together including a show at The Global Citizen concert which was held in December in Johannesburg.
