Nasty C and Prince Kaybee nominated for MTV EMAs

Cape Town - Nasty C and Prince Kaybee have been nominated in the best African act category at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards which will be held at the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre in Spain in November.

The popular musicians are up against Nigerian singers Burna Boy and Teni, Cameroonian duo Toofan as well as Tanzania’s Harmonize.

Taking to his Twitter page on Wednesday, Prince Kaybee posted a video of their nomination and expressed how excited he was and urged fans to vote.

Ariana Grande also received seven nominations for the awards, with Shawn Mendes, Lil Nas X and Billie Eilish on her tail with six nods apiece.

"Wwoooooow, Im so excited guys. Got the News yesterday that we are nominated for BEST AFRICAN ACT AT EUROPEAN MUSIC AWARDS.Please vote NOW by going to http://mtvema.com," he captioned the video.
