Daniel Craig says he finds the idea of inheritance “distasteful”.
During a recent interview with Saga Magazine, the James Bond actor revealed he won’t be leaving his $125 million (about R2,1 billion) fortune to his kids because he hates the idea of inheritance, Independent reports.
“I don’t want to leave great sums to the next generation,” Daniel said.
“My philosophy is to get rid of it or give it away before you go.”
The actor has two children, one of whom he had with his wife, actress Rachel Weisz, in 2018. His other daughter, Ella, is from his previous marriage to Scottish actress Fiona Loudon.
The release date of the 52-year-old’s latest James Bond film, No Time To Die, was recently postponed to November as a result of the novel coronavirus, BBC reports.
"Just one person, who may not even show symptoms, could infect the rest of the audience," the producers wrote in an open letter.
"This isn’t the type of publicity that anyone wants."
