With clowning season in full swing, Muhammad Hussain takes a look at some of the more populist statements we have heard this election cycle from political leaders.

As is expected during an election year, the closer one gets to the election the more populist rhetoric of politicians begins to get weird, wild, and exaggerated - more than what is usually expected from a group of people whose trust wanes and wails with the political winds. 

As most political parties have launched their manifestos, the platforms which they are campaigning on to win as many votes as possible from the 22.7 million eligible voters get a loudspeaker by party leaders during rallies and speeches.
