'I was 5 years old': More allegations mount, but KwaSizabantu says virginity testing stopped in 2002

The latest: Virginity testing on girls as young as five, threatening to chop off the hands of children accused of stealing, an ingrained fear of damnation, and beatings bad enough to leave you struggling to sit - these are some of the allegations made by former members of KwaSizabantu Mission. 

An outpouring: News24 has been flooded with people sharing their own stories and memories of life at the 50-year-old mission station, which now finds itself in the centre of a storm of human rights abuses, impropriety, virginity testing, racism and patriarchy.
