  • KwaSizabantu in KZN stands accused of gross human rights violations after News24 published a series of articles, revealing a string of abuses at the mission.
  • In the second episode of a four-part podcast series, former members give us insight into the mission's alleged stringent rules and regulations.
  • Since the publication of News24's expose, the mission has issued various media statements wherein they deny the accusations.

It's a Monday morning in April 2008.

Two women are making their way towards the main entrance of the KwaSizabantu Mission in KwaZulu-Natal.

They both work at aQuellé mineral water, which is located at the mission.

When they arrive at the gate to start their workday, they are turned away. The women are told they have broken one of the KwaSizabantu Mission's cardinal laws.

They are both pregnant, and neither are married.

In the second episode of a four-part podcast series, News24 explores the stringent rules and regulations that people at the mission are often made to follow.

And the consequences faced by those who fail to follow the mission's dogma.
