Hell hath no fury like … a Cheetahs team scorned?

I have used this forum before to highlight occasional raw deals (or threats of them) for the central South African franchise, adopted by many enthusiasts in the country as their “favourite other team” if not Free State-based or allegiant.

Things are bubbling up disconcertingly again on that front, of course, with the nagging rumours that the Cheetahs - traditionally so easy on the eye entertainment-wise - will be big victims if four SA berths are available in a reworked, future PRO14 model.
