A new family on the block: New cast members join '7de Laan'

Cape Town – A new family is moving in at 7de Laan. 

Duncan Johnson as Marvin Peterson and Nazli George as his wife Ivy Peterson will appear from Christmas Day, 25 December in the Danie Odendaal Productions show.

Marvin will enter the weekday soapie as a family man "focused on providing a comfortable life for his wife and children, but life throws him a curveball" the descriptor of the new character reads.

Ivy will be "a doting wife and mother to Marvin and their children. A woman's resilience is portrayed through this character, who stands by her husband for better or for worse, but how much can one woman endure?" this character's initial descriptor says.

7de Laan says the soap is "confident that viewers will be entertained by Duncan and Nazli's portrayal of Marvin and Ivy Peterson".
