Cape Town - With the royal baby due in April the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning what the little one’s nursery will look like.
According to royal insiders the parents-to-be want to have a gender-neutral, environmentally-friendly space for their baby and are buying organic paint for the walls, The Sun reports.
Since they don’t know whether they’re having a boy or a girl the nursery will be painted white and grey.
“Meghan has been looking long and hard at paints for the Sussex nursery,” the insider said.
“Rather than opt for fashionable Farrow and Ball paint in favoured shades such as Wevet, Peignoir and Pavilion Grey and Salmon, the Sussexes are much in favour of The Organic & Natural Paint Co’s Auro range for the nursery.”
The paint will be infused with rosemary oils and eucalyptus to help stimulate memory and enhance the little one’s immune system, News.com.au reports.
The nursery is being constructed at Frogmore Cottage at Windsor Castle where the royals will move once renovations are done, Express reports.
It’s rumoured the renovations will cost taxpayers up to £3m (more than R54m). Included is the installation of an eco-boiler worth £50k (R900k) to provide the royals with hot water.
