Cape Town - Travis Scott is in hot water following the birth of his daughter, whose mother is realityTV star Kylie Jenner (20).
The 25-year-old rapper is reportedly being sued after backing out of a concert scheduled during the Super Bowl weekend, Daily Mail writes.
According to Pitchfork, entertainment events company PJAM claims they paid Travis $150k (R17.7m) of the $200k (R23.6m) fee in advance, as well as a $10k (R118 040) booking fee to his agent.
Travis was set to perform at the Myth Nightclub near Minneapolis on Saturday, 3 February, two days after the birth of daughter Stormi Webster, but pulled out mere hours before the event.
“As a result of this breach, [PJAM] suffered significant damages,” the suit states.
A day after Travis’ refusal to perform, Kylie took to Instagram to announce she’d given birth.
Some speculated Travis refused to follow through with the concert to be with Kylie and his newborn daughter, but the rapper quickly shut down the rumours by saying he was double-booked.
The Antidote rapper made it in time for his performance in Las Vegas but blamed weather and logistics for missing the concert in Minnesota.
