Preparing for a job interview is stressful. That’s why Meghan Markle decided to surprise this Smart Works client with a video call – just moments before she was about to go for her job interview, E! News reports.

The 38-year-old might’ve stepped down from royal family duties but she’s still keeping in touch with her patronages in the UK, in particular Smart Works – a charity that seeks to assist unemployed women with training, as well as providing them with the appropriate attire.

Taking to their official Twitter page, Smart Works shared a tweet showing a video of Meghan in her LA home sharing words of encouragement and advice with the client ahead of her interview, People reports.

"You seem incredibly confident and prepared. I know everyone here is so excited," she said to the client.

"When I was reading about what your interests are, and especially you have a big focus on mental health as well, right? Psychology? I think that’s excellent."

The client responded, "Thank you so much, that means so much to me."

Meghan continued to chat with the client about the prospective job and further added that she wanted to wish her the best of luck despite everything that was happening in the world.

"I think you’re gonna be fantastic," she added, comforting the client.

"It’s just so exciting. I just wanted to be able to call in and tell you best of luck and my fingers are crossed for you."
