From a medical doctor and executive TV producer to an international speaker and founder of Hello Doctor, Michael Mol has managed to do it all.

When he qualified as a medical doctor in 1995, Michael started working in trauma units in Pretoria. But his career took a slight turn after he was lured by a pair of sunglasses, up for grabs for the Mr South Africa title winner, to enter the competition. 

After winning the title in 1996, the now 48-year-old was asked to audition for Top Billing.
