I HATE MY PARENTS’ ‘TOLD-YOU-SO’ ATTITUDE

My parents are loved by everyone in our community as they go out of their way to help people. To me, however, they are hateful, and they have tried to destroy every relationship I’ve had because the person does not fit their idea of a good partner for me. I know I’m inclined to seek out “bad guys” but that is my taste, and they should leave it up to me.

When I get out of a relationship in which I’ve been abused emotionally and physically they support me but also have a silent attitude of “I told you so”, which makes me even madder at them!
