Now that we've had the opportunity to see Rooney Mara pose nude with co-star Daniel Craig in the newly released poster for the movie The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, we get to see more of her in this unrelenting trailer.
Aso-called "red band" trailer was first seen during previews at selected US cinema screenings last week, the more SFW Dragon Tattoo trailer is embedded below for your jaw-dropping pleasure.
The English-language take on Stieg Larsson’s best-selling novel follows hot on the heels of the massively successful Swedish version of the Millenium trilogy, in which Noomi Rapace played damaged hacker-investigator Lisbeth Salander alongside Michael Nyqvist as journalist and Lisbeth's sometime-lover Mikael Blomkvist.
Mara and Craig play the roles in the latest version which keeps the action in Sweden, where filming is still underway.
The trailer also features Trent Reznor and Karen O's cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song".
The David Fincher-directed adaptation of the crime drama is set for a December 21 release in the US - with its eye squarely fixed on Oscar season - and is expected to release in South Africa on January 6 2012.
It also declares itself "The Feel Bad Movie of Christmas", which, based on the trailer below, is a promise The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will almost certainly fulfil.
