Johannesburg - Voters have once again eliminated Kelly Fortuin from the Idols competition.
The 21-year-old mother from Cape Town received the fewest viewer votes in the Top 6 round after her performance of Estelle's American Boy.
In the Top 8 round Kelly was saved by the judges after failing to impress the voters with her rendition of Michael Jackson's Rock With You.
Many of the personalities who attended the Showstopper Spectacular on Friday September 2 predicted that Kelly would be voted out. Most found Crushanda Forbes and Freddie van Dango's performances to be the best on the night.
However, Freddie ended up in the bottom two with Kelly.
Mark Haze, Lefa Pike and Crushanda were the three contestants with the most votes for the week.
The Top 5 - Freddie, Dave, Lefa, Crushanda and Mark - will each perform two songs at the spectacular on Friday September 9. The show will air on M-Net (101) and Mzansi Magic (107) on Sunday September 11.
The celebrity guest judges in the Top 5 round will be Locnville's Brian and Andrew Chaplin.
