But while the world rejoiced at Khloé Kardashian’s pregnancy announcement late last year (her announcement-post on Instagram garnered close to 9 million ‘likes’), we seem to have forgotten that her basketball bae, Tristan Thompson, is already father to a one-year-old boy, Prince Oliver.
And it seems we weren’t the only ones, because neither Tristan nor the Kardashian family have ever really spoke of the little guy – not in interviews, on social media or in an episode of their reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Back when he was dating Kylie Jenner, Tyga’s son with ex-fiancé Blac Chyna frequently made appearances on the show, even accompanying the family on holiday.
Even Lamar Jr and Destiny, children of Khloé’s ex-husband Lamar Odom, were spoken of on the show and even appeared on the red carpet with Khloé and her famous sisters.
BET recently wrote a damning article in which they called Tristan (26) out on the questionable timeline of his relationship with Khloé (33).
According to US Weekly, the pair made their first public appearance as a couple in September 2016, while Jordan Craig was still heavily pregnant with Tristan’s son.
Since then, Koko and her man have been filling their Instagram with loved-up pictures of each other, and while Tristan regularly gushes about his lady to his 2 million followers, the basketball star is yet to share a picture of his son.
It’s unclear what caused the break-up between Tristan and Jordan – a lifestyle blogger and entrepreneur – but we reckon it’s time he began acknowledging little Prince.
The petite brunette is also keeping mum on anything related to her former flame or his current bae. In fact, she’s only ever shared one snap of her and Prince.
Jordy C – as she’s affectionately called – is related to Kevin Hart through his marriage to her cousin, Eniko Parrish, and she previously dated Tyga.
The controversy surrounding her relationship doesn’t seem to bother Khloé, though.
Earlier last year she gushed about starting a family with Tristan.
“I would love to have a family,” she said in April.
“We’ve talked about it. I know for a fact he would be an impeccable father.”
Oh, the irony.
