Singer Usher’s antics tend to get uglier by the day, and his herpes saga continues. According to TMZ, Laura Helm, one of the women who sued the Yeah hitmaker for allegedly giving her herpes, is now suing three insurance companies.

Laura claims the insurance companies exposed her medical records. Complex reports that Laura says an insurance broker who was representing three insurance companies provided her medical information to a blog. This was after she’d filed the application back in July last year.

After her $20-million (R272 million) lawsuit against Usher was dismissed last year, she’s now turned to taking legal action against US-based companies United Healthcare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Louisiana and Golden Rule Insurance Company for distributing screenshots of her insurance application to a blog.

Laura seems to be going all the way, also suing the blog for defamation. According to BET, it’s because the blog claimed she committed insurance fraud, which she firmly denies.

Court documents showed Usher was “exposed to herpes” in 2009 or 2010 and had unprotected sex with partners without telling them he had the STD, according to Channel24.

In July last year, Radar Online reported that Usher had settled a $1,1-million (R13,65 million) lawsuit in 2012, after he allegedly infected a woman with the STD.
