Actor and singer Dumi Masilela died on Thursday and according to reports here’s what we know:

• He died during a hijacking
• The hijacking apparently happened in Tembisa township in Johannesburg. That’s where Dumi was born and raised.
• He was with a friend when the hijacking happened.
• Their car was shot at during the hijacking.
• Dumi was injured and died at the hospital.
• Dumi and his friend were driving a VW Golf.
