Cape Town - It seemed like the perfect love story. They met, fell in love, got matching tattoos and were ready to walk down the aisle... all in the space of less than six months.
Now, singer Kelly Khumalo and rapper Chad da Don’s relationship has ended - almost as quickly as it began. Speaking exclusively to DRUM, Chad explained that they broke up because of "conflicting beliefs."
"We split up but there are no bad vibes," confirmed, adding: "Her husband-to-be is out there somewhere and I will also find my wife one day."
Kelly was the best thing that has ever happened to him, Chad says.

He says: "I’ve been through a lot and Kelly’s love was medicinal.” The rapper has nothing but praise for his ex-girlfriend, and stresses that "things just didn’t work out and it’s all God’s will."
There’s no bad blood between them and he still cares about her.
"We’re just different people with different beliefs. My heart feels sore but there is no pain God cannot cure. Kelly and I had a good run. We were blessed with a great time but now it’s over,” Chad continues.
Speaking about what he’ll do with the tattoo of Kelly’s initials now that their relationship is over, Chad said: "I’ll probably merge them into Bible scripture like the rest of my tattoos, who knows?"
