Johannesburg - They warned us it would happen, and now it has!
A few weeks ago, songbird Zahara ranted about piracy and fake fans, telling her 'fans' they were not real fans if they bought fong-kong copies of her album (more on that here).
At the time, Zahara was preparing to release her third studio album, Country Girl, and predicted piracy might be a battle she would have to face.
Well, the threat was real, and street sellers have rushed to make copies of the gold-selling album for people to buy.
Zahara's team are upset by it and her producer/mentor, Robbie Malinga took to Instagram to vent about how copies of the album are "killing our music and stealing from our musician."
So don't be part of the problem, guys! Make sure your Country Girl is the real mccoya!
