Johannesburg - Popular DJ, Black Coffee is expected to once again make an appearance in the Randburg Magistrates Court today, in the ongoing speeding case against him.
Black Coffee was arrested in Johannesburg on Christmas Eve last year, after being caught driving at 200km/h in a 120km/h zone.
At the time of his arrest, he was charged with reckless and negligent driving and was later released on R800 bail.
The internationally renowned DJ made his first court appearance a few days after his arrest, only for the matter to be postponed until January.
In January, the state signaled that its investigations against the DJ had been finalised, and the case was once again postponed to the 23rd of February to allow for the consideration of the representations to be submitted.
Black Coffee's wife, Enhle, has accompanied the DJ to all of his previous court appearances and it is expected that she will be in court today to support her husband.
Black Coffee has apologised for the incident saying he was rushing to a family emergency (more on that here).
