Johannesburg- Following a wave of controversy last year, radio personality Zookey Zarling is clawing her way back to the top.
The former Gagasi FM presenter has landed a new gig on internet radio station, Africa Business Radio.
For months last year Zookey found herself making headlines after she publicly accused actor Kay Sibiya of impregnating her.
Zookey further claimed that Kay allegedly asked her to have an abortion, and that he was dodging his responsibility.
Kay hit back strongly at the claims calling for proof to back up her claims. The actor and his family reportedly asked Zookey to take a DNA test, but she refused to do so.
Amidst the drama Gagasi FM confirmed that Zookey's contract with the station had been terminated, but would not be drawn into commenting about speculation surrounding her exit. (Read more on that here)
However, Zookey seems to have left all of the drama in 2015.
Speaking to Sowetan this week, Zookey confirmed her new gig with Africa Business Radio.
"I am excited to get such an opportunity. I am looking forward to the challenge that the job comes with," Zookey told the paper.
Zookey is expected to be back on the airwaves next month.
